This is my new blog. Here to help you. I know I am not alone. Those of you who have gone through adultery by means of child molestation are welcome. Hate the sin... not the sinner.

No More Silence:

My husband committed adultry. He committed, in my opinion, the worse kind of adultry. He molested my niece. He went to jail. He has a felony. He broke our hearts, our family, our life. BUT God saved it! God blessed it! God allowed grace! God heals the broken! God gives mercy!

I choose to stay. Why? Because Jesus stayed. Because I am my husbands helpmeet, til death do we part. Yeah, it hurt. So did the cross. Yeah, it was painful during some parts. I'm guessing getting a crown of thorns put on your head would be too.

As much as it hurts to say it out loud... I did, I am and I will. My husband committed adultry, by molesting a child. Don't be scared. I know I am not alone. I KNOW you are out there.

I chose to stop and help my neighbor...my husband. The one the world says should be my enemy. The one the world sees as the lowest of the low. The ones hated even by 'christians'.

I choose this daily. So can you.

Why we stay:

Luke 10:29-36 ...But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, "And who is my neighbor?" In reply Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him,passed by on the other side.But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him.He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him.The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.' "Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?" The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise."
